Our Founder H.H. Thich Giac Chinh
The Honorable Thich Giac Chinh is a missionary who founded the Sakyamuni Buddhist Sangha of the United States, the Journal of Buddhist Studies, and Dharma Mountain Publishing.
As the founder of the Sakyamuni Buddhist Sangha of the United States, his key objectives include:
- Aim to Establishing Sakyamuni University: Combining Buddhist philosophy with modern academic inquiry to foster a deeper understanding of Buddhism and its applications.
- Promoting Buddhist Studies and Research: Encouraging academic research, science research, and community engagement through various programs and publications.
- Spreading Mindfulness and Meditation: Teaching mindfulness, meditation, and compassion through his teachings, writings, and community service.
- Fostering Community Engagement: Building a community of practitioners who embody the principles of Buddhism, promoting wisdom, compassion, and inner peace.
- Publishing Buddhist Literature: Authoring books on Buddhism and spirituality, such as "The Meditative Path: Unlocking the Power of Consciousness, Subconscious, Heart, Brain, and the Universe".
